DESCRIPTION:HeartCode BLS is the AHA’s BLS blended learning delivery method. Blended learning is a combination of eLearning\, in which a student completes part of the course in a self-directed manner\, followed by a hands-on skills session.  BLS is geared towards prehospital providers\, like EMTs\, paramedics\, fire fighters\, and in-facility hospital providers. Upon successful completion of the course\, students receive a course completion card\, valid for two years. Please contact your employer to ensure that you are selecting the correct course. \nThis is a Blended Learning Course\, after enrollment you will receive an Email from the AHA with a link to the HeartCode online course. \nLearn from home! This blended learning course is provided as part of the American Heart Association’s (AHA) Blended Learning program. Participants are required to complete the online training PRIOR to the in-person skill-based class. Participants must provide a PRINTED copy of their Heart Code completion certificate upon arrival.  IMPORTANT:  Students without completed online certificates will be refused entry into the classroom. \nI understand that I am signing up for a blended learning class\, which includes an initial online course and it is my responsibility to complete the online course before my scheduled class.
