Next Steps:
- Take the online training with the American Heart Association (AHA) for $15
- Complete the course and print out your certificate.
- After completing the online portion you’ll be invited to schedule a date for your hands-on skills test in person with us.
Benefits of this class:
- Convenience: Take the AHA online training at your own pace
- Save time: You will be much more efficient if you take the online training first and then come to one of our facilities for the hands-on test.

Restaurant Choke Saver Training
Certified Chokesaver Training for Massachusetts Food Service Establishments
Your local City or Town’s Board of Health enforces the following Mass Department of Public Health State Law:
Pursuant to M.G.L. C. 94, section 305D, each food service establishment having a seating capacity of 25 persons or more shall: Have on its premises, while food is being served, an employee trained in manual procedures approved by the Department to remove food lodged in a person’s throat. Make adequate provisions for insurance to cover employees trained in rendering such assistance.

This is a hands-on course where students practice CPR skills with adult and infant manikins and learn how to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). We also discuss the warning signs of Opioid overdoses and how to administer Naloxone (Narcan).
