November 9, 2024 – Youbellor Child Academy – When Seconds Count

“When YOU are the help until help arrives”.  A 90-minute informational class for a broad audience appropriate for school staff.  We have found many people do not need a certificate card to put in their wallet, but do want to be prepared for common medical emergencies in the home and workplace.  In a concise 1 ½ hours the course covers:

• Patient assessment

• CPR, Giving compressions & breaths

• How to use an AED

• Choking

• Bleeding control

• Fainting/Seizures

• Diabetic emergencies

• Opioid overdose/Narcan

• Allergic reactions – Anaphylaxis – Epi-Pens

• Concussions

• Nose bleeds
