September 12, 2026 – AUBURN Pakachoag Center The American Heart Association (AHA) HeartCode® BLS Blended Online Learning
September 12 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am
$89.00

Learn from home! The American Heart Association (AHA) HeartCode® BLS is an adaptive, web-based comprehensive eLearning program tailored specifically for healthcare professionals and first responders. It serves as the cognitive, online portion of the BLS blended learning curriculum, focusing on advanced resuscitation and team-based dynamics.
How Adaptive Learning Works
Unlike standard online courses that use static slides, HeartCode BLS utilizes an adaptive learning algorithm.
- Personalized Paths: The system continuously adjusts the curriculum in real time based on your specific knowledge inputs and self-reported confidence levels.
- Testing Out: If you demonstrate immediate mastery of a concept during a knowledge probe, the course lets you bypass that module to save time.
- Realistic eSimulations: Students treat virtual patients in simulated healthcare settings, requiring real-time critical thinking and bedside decision-making.
Course Structure & Timeline
- Online Component (Part 1): Takes roughly 1 to 2 hours to complete depending on your prior experience level.
- Hands-On Session (Parts 2 & 3): Takes roughly 45 to 60 minutes. This must be completed in person with a live instructor.
- Credential: You receive an official AHA BLS Provider eCard valid for 2 years.
NOTE: YOU WILL RECEIVE A SEPARATE EMAIL THAT WILL CONTAIN A LINK TO THE AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION ONLINE COURSE
Participants are required to complete the online training PRIOR to the in-person skill-based class. Participants must provide proof of completion upon arrival.
IMPORTANT: Participants must provide proof of completion upon arrival. Students without completed online certificates will be refused entry into the classroom. Instructors will accept a printed copy or an image of the certificate on your phone.
I understand that I am signing up for a blended learning class, which includes an initial online course and it is my responsibility to complete the online course before my scheduled class.
